Book your Hindi Character Domain (Website) name at Rs.350 only

Presently, people are booking English character Domain names for their websites. Indian Government is planning to enable websites (Domains) in Hindi character will help creation of website content in regional language.

Lots of regional language websites available online in different category i.e news, professional, company related etc. Newly regional national language Hindi website (Domain) owing individual companies with domain name in Hindi language would be able to book the name in Hindi characters from next month.

National Internet Exchange of India CEO said "Website name booking in Hindi characters is anticipated to be launched from August 15 subject to endorsement from higher authorities. Each domain name will cost Rs 350 and the TLD(top level domain) will be .bharat (in Hindi lettering),". The name would have '.bharat' in Hindi character as its extension instead of commonly top level domains such as .com, .net or .in. Online users can able to book sub-domain for their blog/website at Rs.250 each, said.

Govind also added, companies concerned in booking of domain names can make easy booking of website name in Hindi characters too. "First two months, we will open it for companies having trademark or copyright on names like brands, government organizations and supposed commercial firms. After two months, the service will be opened for all," said.
