Amazon enters into Domain Name Registration Services

Recently Google started Domain registration services in continuation to that International brand ecommerce website Amazon also entered in this scheme to sell domains online.

Now, users can grab their relevant content matched domain name for their website as well Amazon enabled services to transfer from existing registrars to Amazon using Domain name services of Route 53.
Amazon users subscribed to EC2, S3 services or others you know that till now you had to first register your domain at an outside registrar, create the Hosted Zone in Route 53, and then build up your domain’s entry at the registrar to spot the Route 53 name servers.

Using new Route 53 Domain Name Registration entire process can complete within the AWS management Console. Here you can easily manage, transfer domain from a wide choice of generic and country based and content based top-level domains priced at $12 for a year, compare to other TLDs starting from $9 per year.
The new launch of Amazon’s domain services includes configurable expiration notification, optional auto-renewal, health checks etc. for web purpose. Amazon to compete with other domain service providers offering low-cost domain registrations.
